PMs for gifts?

Is there no option for users to get a PM when they have been sent a gift (not item)?

They receive a PM when another person has purchased something for them.

When you add an "Item" it has the option to whether the user should get a PM or not but no such option exists for when adding Gifts.

So, you're saying they get a PM anyway.

They will always receive PMs when a Gift is given, yes.
