When editing a game, the icon/badge/SWF are editable, but you can't see their current values. Would be good to at least be able to mouse over the icon/badge images to see what the current values are in a tooltip.

Also, as this only allows for looking on the local file system, how do you set files that are already on the remote system?

All assets for a game are kept in its dedicated media folder. making a server file browser would be a little crazy (it would need to traverse outside of that directory, since there wouldnt be anything new in it). additionally, no clean way to include a remote file selection with it. i think using an upload prompt is the most user friendly, because if you can identify an image by its specific url, you are technically adept enough to save-as, and then stick it into the uploader :p plus i dont like hotlinking. So i will decline that suggestion.

Why do you need to see the filenames for the current thing? Again, i would think the person who cared what it was (a techie admin) would also know how to find that out through other (not difficult at all) means.

I was just looking for input text boxes really. =) Since you already list the path to the game itself just above those, it'd be easy enough to copy that and add in the correct image, etc.

The reason I even brought this up is it looks like you have fields that aren't filled out, even though they have data. And the reason I was even looking at it in general was because of the imported game that was corrupted that I reported in another thread. I was going to try and fix this quickly and just point to the right file (by finding the name via FTP). I in no way expected a remote file browser! So :p right back at ya! ;)

i dont want to allow assets for a game to be outside of its dedicated folder... it gets messy for everyone involved, especially when you have a bazillion games. so, that excludes a local-filepath thing.
the only reason i even allow specifying those (when both v3a and ibp just tell you to stick to a naming scheme and ftp) is some games have multiple image and swf assets beyond those 3, and the system needs to know which ones it should be using.

It is impossible to have used the gui to save a game without a swf, so i didnt think it was necessary to mention the filename; but, i guess i could show it for fun, for debugging assistance.
