Hi,
I have vbshout the pro version.
In the settings have set the rights to the guests could write posts on sb.
Unfortunately, not logged in users can not write.
Just like in the picture:

Is it possible to allow writing to guests?
So it seems the only way I can get my slider to display properly for guests is to have the usergroup permission "Can Download Attachments" set to yes for un-registered users.
Is there a work-around for this or this? I do have some attachments throughout the forums that I would rather members be...
I know I had this working before, but for some reason I can not get the forum home block to display for guests. I can't seem to find any permissions anywhere.
It displays fine for registered members.
Hello,
How could I hide the welcome-panel from guests? Nothing found in sitebuilder or admincp dbtech-options.
Because there is nothing on the panel a guest have to see.
A better way is/ would be to show a message like:
If you wanna see some statistics of you and the forum you have to post...
Would it be possible to have the ability to reposition this box? I would like to position it below my notices for guests.
A usergroup permission may also be a nice feature.
We have just developed a mobile theme for our site and coded a very simple plugin to detect mobile users and redirect them accordingly. However, when Vboptimise is enabled, desktop guests will often see the mobile theme instead of the desktop theme. And sometimes mobile guests will see the...
I use APC.
I notice a bug under certain condition :
1. Guest caching is on.
So when guest with *any* (default / mobile) style visit certain sub forum, it is opening another sub forum.
So in address bar the URL is correct, but what's displayed on browser is another sub forum.
For example i have...
Things are working great so far with the SEO improvements. The kicker is that I have an in post advertisement in the first post of every thread that produces stuff like this in Google:
Note the {ohio_content_300}
I have created an additional instance [Invite Instance] and added two fields [first and last name] and removed human verification for this instance.
I have created two criterias one default and one for invite instances.
When a non-invited member tries to register after having email...

I was previously on 2.2.0pl1 and upgraded to 2.2.0pl2 when you issued a fix for quotations in a download name. Now all of my download threads where the download name ends in a number are giving access errors (admins and guests alike - which should all have access to the download pages). Settings...
Some doubts about vbShout.
1. I want to hide the chat content from guests (show only to logged in users) - is it possible?
2. Is it possible to change the shoutbox location to the sidebar for example?
3. Do the archives are indexed by search engine crawlers?
Thanks
We just installed Vboptimise yesterday and are using the filecache for guest caching (I'm not sure if storing whole HTML pages in APC is a good idea). The problem is that we have 1500 guests online at one time and the filecache folder has already grown to 3GB. So now, when trying to perform...

I noticed that all files that are needed for the shoutbox (jquery.tmpl.min.js, vbshout.js, dbtech_vbshout.css, dbtech_vbshout_colours.css, dbtech_vbshout_editor.css) are loaded for users that do not have access to it. Would it be possible to load these files only for those that have access, or...
Hello,
I've just installed dBTech SEO mod for vBulletin. It works great, however I have one huge problem. I am on IIS and the rewriting of URLs is not working quiet well. I'm new to IIS (I prefer Apache with htaccess - but what can I do) and I really don't know how can I fix the issue...

I'm not sure if this is a how do I post or a feature request...or if its available with pro?
But basically I would like to show the question block to guests. With the hope that they will register to use it.
Secondly, is it possible to not show the other blocks...for example the unanswered...
Hi,
I wanted potential advertisers to see what we have on offer without registering for the site.
I completely understand that they need to be registered to take out adverts :) (makes perfect sense).
Is there an option somewhere to open the forumads page for guests to view our adverts, then...
Hi Mokonzi,
When I am logged into the forum the £ pound sign looks like a £ but when I am logged out and viewing as a guest the pound sign looks like a sort of diamond question mark
Have a look at this attachment... strange one?
Cheers
