Bug Administrator Permissions Error On Installation

Hi, I'm trying to re-install vBcredits Deluxe, but when I import the XML file I receive the following error:

Sorry, you don't have permission to access the administrative controls on this page.

If you need to access this page, ask your lead administrator to enable your permissions for this page using the Administrator Permissions section of the control panel.

All permissions are set to 'Yes' and I'm super admin, so I'm not sure what I can do about this as I've never received this error before.

Your posivite your set to super admin in config.php?

Make sure your user has all yes in Administrator Permissions:

Hi, yes and yes. I'm also receiving the following database error:
Unknown column 'user.credits' in 'field list'

At what point during the import do you get that message? After import it will redirect you to a credits page, and if you are lacking the "can admin vbcredits" admin permission, youll get one of those messages, but vbcredits was still successfully installed/upgraded.

Yes, it's after install, but I'm not sure why it's giving me the admin error as it's my site. It's the database error that's also puzzling me as it wasn't there before...goodness knows what I've done!

angeljs has this been resolved? If not could you pm me with a full admin account, and ftp info and i will see if I can get it to install

The admin error means you are not logged in with a user who's ID is entered into the corresponding location in your config.php - vbcredits adds a new admin permission which will be disabled by default for regular admins, so after successful install it will forward you to a vbcredits page, but the lack of permissions will show you that error.

What is the database error? Can you paste it here?

Hi, thanks for all the suggestions. I managed to fix the errors by simply uninstalling/re-installing the mod. Not sure why it happened, but it's fine now.
