Hello,

We are experiencing an issue with vbArcade when we integrated the titles we use to have on the v3Arcade. When the user clicks on "Arcade" in the forums, it takes them to 1 title and does not allow the user to access the home page of the arcade and pings up all of the games on the right hand side and eventually crashes the page.

We are thinking it's a conflict with one of the game titles on it from v3 to vBarcade, however, it won't let us delete the game title.

Can we get some help on this please?

This is the game that first appears when you click on "Arcade" it use to go to the main arcade homepage.

currupt.webp

This is the game that we believe did not port over from v3arcade correctly, as you can see it has not title.

currupt2.webp

This is the message we get when we try to delete the title, it won't even let us deactivate it.

We may need a re-integration of the arcade as some files may have become corrupted on the change.

Wow, your list of symptoms are all together too bizarre for me to begin guessing whats causing them. That error message isnt even something vbarcade would say (it would say "invalid game"). Did you have v3arcade installed at the time of vbarcade install? Seems almost like a crazy mashup between the two which again I have no idea how that could even happen.......

Please PM me an admin login and ftp :)

Fascinating! I did not realize from your screenshot that you have one game which lacks both an ID and a title...

I think the error message you posted was from vbulletin's delete confirmation screen unable to grab the title of the game because it lacks an ID, and the arcade mainpage is getting confused because it decides whether to show the main or game page based on the existence of the gameid, and the arcade main has a blank gameid which somehow has an actual game attached to it in your case.

So, I can fix the arcade in the next release to not bother checking blank gameids, and I can repair your site with the access you PMd me, but I'd also like to fix what caused this in the first place. how did you import that game? From uploading the zip of the game, or by converting from your v3a install?

DarkWaltz4,

Thank you very much for the fix! I simple converted the game from it's v3a install. Hope that helps!

Looks like the bad game was actually imported feed-style from the flashgamedistribution service. I tested another game from it though and it worked fine, so perhaps they had a fault game since removed. At any rate, there was the legitimate portal-breaking bug patched for you and in the next version, and ive removed that game for you! you should be all set now.
