Bug Categories is disabled, but available in Mochi Import

This probably isn't a big deal, but I wanted to mention it. You currently have categories disabled, but when importing Mochi games, at the very bottom is a checkbox for something to do with categories. Not sure if that'll mess things up or not with the categories disabled right now.

Do you think it should try to include the game in categories if they match with existing one, regardless of checking the include categories checkbox? Or should it only try matching existing and adding new when that checkbox is checked? (I was originally going to do the latter, now not sure)

I think it should try to match existing always, then if none are found, leave them without a category or default into a specific category so that the admin can easily see which games aren't categorized and them place them where needed.

Might be good to have an import status screen when it's done importing. Then display info such as what category something was automatically moved into (or not), just for quick verification so if something goes where you don't want it, you can make note of it and move it.

The only better thing I can think of (but is more work) is on import, for each game have two options "Auto detect category when importing", "Import into New Category" (Let the admin create a new one on the fly there), "Import into specific category" (Admin selects existing category).

Again, more work and I'll let you decide if it's worth it. But I can see people with a lot of games, anything to decrease the import steps would be good. Maybe v2? =)

Okay, Ill make it always try to match, and only add new ones if checked.

I dont want to make a status screen, or specific options, because i want import to be quick (it just gives a count at the top and marks installed games with green checkmarks) so they can move onto the next page of games.

Besides, tools for mass adding/remove games to categories will be in the category manager.
