Ok..I have my CMS running at www.mysite.com and my forum is www.mysite.com/forum so how do i set the customs urls to work..the rewrite for the forum and blog work fine cause they are all located in the /forums directory but when you click on a article link on the cms i get a 404 error page..

Does LiteSpeed support .htaccess rewrites? I'm not seeing DBSEO actually rewriting any of your URLs.

Have you edited your .htaccess file with the DBSEO rewrite rules, and ensured the product is active in both the plugin manager and the DBSEO Control Panel?

If so, and it's still not working, send me an FTP and AdminCP account and I'll look into it tomorrow (it being 2AM here) :)

ok..new info..In the settings>options>friendly urls if i set it to standard like it says to do in the setup..the cms does not work..you click on promote to article you get 404 error..if i change it to basic friendly urls everything is fine with the cms but when i click on a thread link on the forum it gives this error...

The issue appears to be that the CMS files from the "do_not_upload" in the vB .zip file were uploaded, when (from what I'm reading) what should have happened was that the real vB files should be in the root directory, and the Forum files from the "do_not_upload" folder should be put in the "forum" subfolder.

That being said, I have no idea if this would actually work. I have no experience running vB and the CMS in different directories, so I don't want to simply go ahead and move your files around randomly.

Meanwhile, I have turned off CMS Rewrites in DBSEO, as it's clear they will not function under the current setup.

Well even if the rewrites never work on the cms that's fine cause it's not used very often it's just a landing page more or less

Glad to hear it, would you mind letting me know how? :)

Sure..It was a simple solution..You said yourself it was not gonna function under the current setup..So therefore I changed the setup..I moved the CMS back to were the default setup should be and everything works just fine now..
