I just installed this and set up the points and such. It has a ton of duplicate categories in the drop down listings (example: threads, threads or referrals, referrals)

Also when setting up the point amounts there are TONS of duplicates on there as well. Points for Threads, Points for Threads or Points for Registration, Points for Registration.

The each one also has the point amount you can enter, if it's active or not, etc.

I tried to set all of the ones that duplicated to the same settings in order to maybe prevent problems just to try to work around these.

I just tried for example starting new threads and it's not showing ANY points given for starting them. Is this a bad install??

Can someone help me?

Is there any way to save all the millions of criteria, categories, and achievements I set up last night? I guess I just have to make a list and renter them all huh?

Hey Fillip H., I went ahead and did this... so far I am not showing duplicates. I am working on getting it all set back up again and then will let you know if it is calculating.

But I have a couple of little questions...

When going in to the point settings ... say I have it set to where for example: points for posts >=10 and in the point settings area, the point value is set to "5"... am I assuming correctly that all it would take is TWO posts to then hit the 10 criteria? If so, it just seems that everything should be set to "1"

But with the days registered I noticed (and it appears like it's set up this way here as well) that the point settings area has it as 0.1 by default. If I have it set up to where for example: days registered >=7 or >=365 as the criteria, wouldn't it be correct by setting the point value to "1" as well in this situation??

My last question... Shoutbox, I have looked and looked and can't figure out exactly it's purpose? Is it the thing at the top of these forums that kind of looks like a chat room? I was hoping it was maybe something that where if I said the person's handle in a thread or post it would alert them, but I think I am wrong about that.

The Pro version allows you to export/import these features.

That is correct :)

No. When you choose Days Registered you can choose between Value and Points. Value becomes Days Registered >= 7 and Points becomes Points for Days Registered >= 7.

With 0.1 points per days registered, a user would need to be registered 7 days to trigger the criteria with Value, and 70 days to trigger the criteria with Points.

Does that make it clearer? :)

That's exactly what it is, a chat room within your forum for members to socialise in a more rapid fire way than posts :)
