Bug Error 1054

I've seen this error occasionally, but had several since upgrading to the 2.0.1 thanks version.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hotfix available

Frankly that's not much help. I downloaded the latest version of the thanks mod and installed it. Telling me there's a hotfix available does nothing to tell me how to fix this problem. Perhaps you'd care to explain how I might accomplish this hotfix?

A hotfix means the files have been changed to solve the issue.

Download the product again and overwrite the files, and re import the xml.

You are telling me that the xml file has been updated in the last 30 minutes? That's about how long ago it was when I downloaded the files.

Yes as soon as he posted Hotfix Available they were updated, 13 minutes ago.

The XML file did not change, only the files themselves.

A hotfix is basically when I upload a fix to the Pro version's files, and requires you to re-download and re-upload the files in order to receive the fix.

If a bug requires a change to the templates (i.e. the XML file), I will say "Fixed in the next version" and release a new minor version (2.0.2 being a minor fix to 2.0.1 etc).

I've followed the instructions - and hopefully the problem is resolved. If so, thanks for the quick response.

Just a word of friendly advice....better than "hotfix is available" is something like:

"You've identified a bug and I've just fixed it. Please download the installation files again and upload them to your server."

That way a user understands that you are actually responding to the report and not saying that somewhere out in cyberspace there's some hotfix file floating around that they're stupidly unable to find.
