Bug Fatal error when logging into admin panel

I get the following error on the redirection page when logging in to the adminCP:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method VBCREDITS::regular() in /home/*****/global.php(37) : eval()'d code on line 1

If I uploaded the files from V2.0 I get a mess of letters displayed in the admin loginpage. Basically, I'm now locked out from my admin panel...

Double check you've uploaded the files to the correct places... might be that that is causing the problem.

I uploaded the upload folder to my forum folder. So if there's a problem, the structure in the upload folder is not correct.

I get the following screen on the admin page if I use the V2.0 files.

1) Edit (forum)/includes/config.php and add this anywhere on its own line:

define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

2) Log into your admincp and disable vBCredits

3) Remove that line from step 1

4) Upgrade vBCredits, and reenable it when you are done

Did not the trick. Furthermore I get the same mess as above on the redirection pages. The menu point in the Admin CP has alslo weird signs in it.

For the time being, I uninstalled the product.

Which steps were you able to complete? Can you PM me ftp and possibly an admin login?

I could install it completely. It also appears in the addon list. However, the errors appear when trying to relogin in the admincp. You got a pm.

Fixed?!?!?!? Far away from that. I still have the same problem. Absolutely nothing was done. And the steps you are referring to dont' work.

Yes. Since I uninstalled it because I only got the mess in the admin screen. Even when following your steps.

Okay, I have a new plan for upgrade protection which will disable addons automatically if the files are mismatched with the product, giving you the opportunity to log in and complete the import without issues.
