Question How do I fix the database error?

I am getting the following error while installing DB Classifieds:

Database error in vBulletin 4.2.3:

Invalid SQL:

INSERT INTO `package` (`productid`, `class`)
VALUES ('dbtech_classifieds', 'DBTechClassifieds');;

MySQL Error : Duplicate entry 'DBTechClassifieds' for key 'class'

Have you tried installing Classifieds before? It looks like either a failed install or a previous install not uninstalled completely.

Yes, while trying to upload the xml file it took a lot of time and showed nothing...

That explains the issue. Hmmm. Do you know what stage it was on when it started lagging?

What I mean is what stage of the install did it reach before it stopped progressing?

I can provide some uninstall code, but I think you'll find you end up with lots of issues. Do you want me to login for you and help clean it up? If so PM me some admin login details with permissions to run SQL queries, as well as add products.

I'm working on it at the moment. It looks like it's timing out before the install is completing. Do you have a shared server, or are you using VPS or dedicated? Can you adjust the timeout settings on the server in anyway?

PS, if you got any other MySQL errors in the last fifteen mins can you post them here for me?

Hi Mokonzi, thanks for your help. Yes, I am using GoDaddy shared hosting in Linux server. I didn't get any MySQL error as I haven't run any SQL query. I had installed many DBTech mods in my site and none of them caused me any serious installation problem except this one.

Thanks matey. I tried now and it's still not completing. Have the expanded the memory or the execution time? That figure of 2048 M looks like memory or max packet allcoation.
