how to set thanks to all threads?

i need to set ALL threads to have checked the option "requiere thanks to see content"

this is because i was using an old "thanks" mod...and all my and users threads have the hide bbcode.... we cant edit each thread to enable this option!!!

Try something like UPDATE post SET dbtech_thanks_requiredbuttons_content = 1

If you use a table prefix you need to add that too

Just don't know what else to tell you, I tested it and it works for me...

Maybe you can try clearing the post cache in the maintenance page (bottom in the vb admin nav). If not then I really have no idea.

I assume the BBCode is just standard HIDE and not "HIDE-POSTS" or whatever some of the old hide hacks used.

ho..i think we arent understanding each other...

this mod allows to hide a specific part of a thread, right??? using {HIDE} and {/HIDE}

if user press on "requiere thanks to see content" the specified content will be hide....

so, to allow a user to see the hide content, he must give thanks..no?

im right?

Yep that is correct, and by setting the "requiredbuttons_content" to 1, it hides the content within the hide tags and requires them giving thanks.
Setting it to 2 requires them giving Like.
4 = Giving Dislike

i have tried again and now it works, but i dont know why sometimes the text "to see hide blabla you must thanks" isnt showed, and if i execute the query again it is showed

It is not, we've only released minor versions and such a feature would be announced as a major feature
