Legacy How to tag usergroups?

I know how to use the [mention] tags, @ and #, but is there a way to mention an entire usergroup at once, as opposed to just single usernames? On my site we use mentions a lot to elicit staff input on various matters. I find I'm usually tagging the same 5 people on a regular basis. It would be really convenient if I could just mention all admin users, mods, smods, etc., rather than having to list each of their names.

That is not currently possible, though we will look into adding it into a future version

It's on the list to look at when the next version of user tagging is being designed. Thats not on the immediate horizon however. Each mod tends to get 3-5 updates per year.
