Hi, has any one come across a problem with IIS7.

I install the Download tool on my test server (running II6) testing everything no problems. (Path to Download, good, flash upload all good).

Migrated the new install of VB and Download to the live server but I hit a few problems.

1) the Path to Download doesn't like the location (I downloaded your php to show the path and yes its all correct) funny thing is using NoN-flash file uploads correctly and the Icon upload works. So I know the location and permissions are correct.

2) the Flash reports IO Error but not sure if this is linked to the above problems. As mention the non-flash works ok.

So not sure if its in 4.1.6 of VB or IIS7 that is causing the problems.

I will continue tomorrow to play around but just wanted to see if anyone else had seen this.

Thanks

G.

So if you disable the flash uploader you can upload files correctly? I'm wondering if the files weren't uploaded correctly. Like some files uploaded as ascii when they should be binary and vice versa?

Hi Dylan, yes disabling flash the upload works.

Looking at the packet captures all I see returned is

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1252"?>
<filegroup>
<flashid>1</flashid>
<catid>2</catid>
</filegroup>

I think its todo with the production site being in SSL and the test in HTTP but will let you know what I find.

Hi, just verified. As I am hosting the site using SSL the Flash does not work. As soon as I moved it to a HTTP I got an alert windows with the source code.

Anyway so we can use the non flash to do this.

One other questions, we currently use downloadII and there is an import feature so we dont have to upload using the front page. This has been proved worth while and much quicker. Are there any plans to add this.?

thanks

Are you looking for a downloads II to our downloads converter or an importer to ease creating/replicating downloads? Or both?
Either way, can you create a new thread as a feature request? I can't convert this one to a feature request and that's how we track the list for the next version.
