Legacy Improved Process to Subscribe to Hash Tags

When a user clicks on a hash tag link in a post, it takes them to the hash list page. I think it would be nice to have an improved way for members to subscribe to hashes so they can follow (get notified). For example, a button next to the hash tag to "follow" or "add notification", etc. I have temporarily added a link to the hash subscription management page. But even that requires they correctly type the hash phrase into the subscription form. I think a one click subscribe from the hash subscription page would be nice.

Also I had previously asked about adding an email notifications for hash tags and mentions. Is this still a possibility?

If there's a feature request thread for it here then it'll be looked at when we're designing the next version =)
