wannabe

Customer
Hello

i have tried to install vbshout in vbulletin 5.0.2, i upload all files into core directory, go to manage product and when i try to upload the xml file, appear the next error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function query() on a non-object in /home/user/public_html/vb5/core/dbtech/vbshout/includes/class_install.php on line 249

thanks

Your vBShout licence is for vBulletin 3.8 / vBulletin 4.x. You need to purchase an upgrade to either a Dual Licence or convert your licence to a vB5 version if you wish to use vBShout for vB5 :)

See your Client Area, you'll have a "Renew / Upgrade Licence" option for licences which have a vB5 version :)

well,

i have an issue in the step 4 of readme:

4. That's it! You can enable the Site Builder and drop the widget wherever you want.

i can't found the widget in the module list :(

Thanks

I will be testing our mods on the latest version of vB5 in the next couple of days as I begin work on a new vB5 port :)

Update: I have discovered the issue you're experiencing and I will be releasing a new version of all our vB5 mods to address this issue over the coming week :)

Ok, this is a little bug but we can fix, the issue is when you go to site builder only show a new widget but with no name, to fix that only need drop the widget wherever you want and is done :)

I know, that's the issue I was referring to. vB 5.0.2 changed the way modules work, so I'm making these new versions require vB 5.0.2 and newer in order to function :)
