I upgraded to the newest version and on the default arcade page, the latest tournaments is not showing up as a block. When I do an overwrite install of the xml, it says
"Product dbtech_vbarcade Imported. Click continue to merge the product templates." I then click continue and it takes me to add a game.

The date on the tournament is also odd.

I don't know how to set it to guest view and it's super hard to register yourself an account to help fix a product I paid for. <.<

(snip)

I know what it should look like, that is why I made this post, because it does not look like what you have. The Latest Tournaments block is missing from the front page of the arcade. Just like I said in the first post.

Also when you sign up for a tournament, shouldn't it say how long until you compete, not when you signed up.

Thanks! We avoid registering to other sites for support purposes, otherwise we then have essentially permanent accounts tied to real email addresses (because of email verification). If you set it up yourself, you'll remember to disable/delete it afterwards, and bypass verification. I still have several sites sending me newsletters and spam from this :(

Anyway - I believe you have an edited dbtech_vbarcade_home and dbtech_vbarcade_headinclude templates that you need to revert to pick up v2.0.0 changes. That will fix the missing block and the countdowns. If you dont think you have edited templates, I will need an admin account to take a better look, but that looks to be the problem.

Once the countdowns are working again, you'll see that it counts down to when the tournament should begin. It is a coincidence that 8 hours looks like august :p

Thank you

I still can't compete in the tournament that was scheduled for today. It also still tells me that date of when I signed up on the time of the tournament instead of when I can compete. I checked the config and it appears correct.

The tournament is set to 3 rounds, which requires exactly 8 players.
Because there are only 3 players confirmed to play, the tournament will not begin.

When the tournament is pending, and you didnt sign up yet, it will show the date the tournament is "slated" to start (for knockout tournaments, like the one you created, this actually doesnt matter because it starts immediately upon 8 people joining, and nothing happens when that date passes and there arent enough people. Setting a date in the future shows a countdown, which is merely to instill a sense of urgency for people to join the tournament. The date is enforced for group tournaments, because they dont have participation requirements). When the tournament is pending, and you joined but are waiting, it will show the time you joined, so that the admin can review in the admincp the timeline of the tournament. Once the tournament is begins, it will show you a countdown that you have to play your match.

In short, this is working as designed.
