Alright,

I am looking forward to purchase this product since it cause effects in forum browsing and make it faster and smooth, so i downloaded the lite version and test by myself before purchase (thats what i did with the others products i bought already)

After the instalation of this product, i went to settings, turn it on the product and put yes to everything, then i tried to run test and it says:

vB Optimise is currently offline. Please enable and configure vB Optimise to run a system test.

Ok, i went again to its settings and try to see what is happening, then i found this option "vB Optimise: Opcache Operator", i choose each to make the test and this message is the following when i pick any of them:

vB Optimise: You have selected a cache method that vB Optimise has detected you cannot use, this may be because the extension required is either not installed or configured correctly on your server. Please contact your system administrator or hosting provider for more information.

So thats my obstacle, i don't have a clue what else to do at this point, i went to upload file then config.php and i saw something about xcache autenthification and also password there but i don't know what user and pw put there.

Please some assistance on this to try this product out :(

Regards

Some updates:

I've set into the config the authentification admin and pw because i've set "yes" in the manage setting (last option)

I've click on filecache and apparently it worked out same as system test option, but i havent seen any positive impact in terms of speed browsing to my forums.

To use an Opcache Operator you need to select an operator your server has installed. Recommend you ask your host which selection from the list, if any, you have installed. If have none installed and your hosting package does not support the installation of those you will need to use Filecache.

You will most likely not see any noticeable difference as the time saved is not really measurable by human perception. However, if you want to verify that a speed up occurred turn on debug mode and at the bottom you can see how long it took the page to render. Experiment with vBOptimise on and off. Be sure to set-up cache settings.

I am completely lost on it, the first two lines didn't got any of this meaning.

i have to ask my host about if they can activate or if they have activate memcache or xcache? how could i know if it is active already? i have cpanel so i am wondering where to check first before asking them.

To me it sounds like you're running a shared hosting plan. If you have shared hosting I highly doubt you have any sort of cache installed on your server. If you want to try your luck, you need to contact your host via a support ticket and ask them if they have any sort of caching operators such as memcache, xcache etc.,. and, if not, if it is possible to have it installed.

If you don't and can't have those installed, you will need to use Filesystem and make sure the directory listed in the setting is writeable. Unsure how to do that? Ask your host.

Well then your host will most likely be able to tell you which operator you have installed or install one for you. :)

Install Xcache since I think it's very simple to set it up.
Go here: InstallAdministration

I don't think you know enough about VPS hosting to this yourself.
I am not sure if GoDaddy will even install a third party script for you, generally an unmanaged host will tell you to do it yourself.
I'd highly recommend getting a VPS host that offers fully managed vps servers.

I myself use Unixy and they do complete management and installation of third party scripts.

BTW, you could always use Filecache...

Uhm, you right, godaddy doesn't support this setup about xcache, i wonder if some of the admin or developers could help me out on this, i will give my info to make it works :)

Due to the vast differences in server configuration and setup, installing such scripts is not a service we're able to provide at this time :(

If you find out what OS your VPS is running on you can google for installation instructions, though :)

I am really a zero to negative doing this kind of things, the OS is centos (linux)

If somebody can help me out i would appreciate a lot, because i would like to purchase this product :)

Ok, this could be relatively simple, or relatively hard. :(

Anyway, first thing you need to know is that google is your friend, i.e. google for keywords, in this case, how to install xcache on centos server (you can ignore VPS as it isn't important to you).

Here are some links I found with similar search (I actually used "installing xcache centos").

Next, as you have VPS, you probably don't have a lot of memory, so mind you when you set memory for your xcache. Also, know that now is 1.3.2 latest stable version, so you need to change name of file you'll get with wget. XCache

Anyway, it's a good thing for you to start learning this stuff. I also started to learn this and didn't know anything. Main advantage is that unmanaged servers are much cheaper than managed ones. But, to be honest, I paid VPS server to learn on it, and still have it for further testing, backing up, etc. Don't play too much on live server, you could mess things up pretty badly (I did it myself numerous times).
