Question Node-Specific Usergroup Permissions

Hi, a question about using the Usergroup Permissions item and nodes.

Is this scenario possible to accomplish, and if so, how?

1. A permission related to threads is set to 'no' for Registered users by default
2. User buys a Usergroup Permissions item in the Shop that turns this permission to 'yes'
3. Only allow this newly enabled permission from the Shop item to work in specific nodes, instead of globally

I thought of and tried setting the top nodes all to 'no' for the permission, and then setting the specific nodes to 'yes' to accomplish this, but this just allowed all users to use it in those boards irregardless of the item.

Ah nevermind, I think I just have to use a full on usergroup for this with the usergroup change item? My habit from VB is to try and avoid using extra usergroups if possible but I guess in XF that doesn't seem to be an issue.

There's plans to rework the "Forum Access" item into a regular forum permission item similar to user group permissions, but at the moment this is not possible so UGs would need to be used.
