When posting a reply to a thread, where the content of the reply includes an URL, ex. www.domain.com , the poster is either asked to verify that they either want to leave the page or stay on the page.

When I turn off DBSEO the problem goes away.
Please advise

Can you please check the error log to see if there's any mention of the cause behind this error there?

We get this as well, my members have reported that they also get a double post after clicking leave this page.

Error logs are usually found in /usr/local/apache/logs/error_log but it can vary by system. If you can't find this file, you don't have access or it doesn't have any relevant information, please contact your host for assistance with seeing PHP errors in AJAX scripts.

thanks for the push B, My logs are in a different directory but that was enough for me to find them.
this is the error that is generated DBSEO turned on and when a user tries to post a url.

Call to undefined function curl_init() in /var/www/dbtech/dbseo/includes/class_core.php on line 5306, referer: [url-]http://www.domain.com/testing-area/30971-new-thread-test.html[/url]

Yeah, cURL is a more secure method of fetching remote content than sockets or file open requests.

Glad you got it resolved :)
