I had verified from my management team and they said they could go ahead with xCache with no probs. They installed it fine and everything is good.

I asked them about admin authentication, they said they never knew about such admin authentication earlier but they would check out - So, I set the option to be "no".

Now, I had installed vb optimise, set Yes to all Options.

I noted on the other thread about System Test.
I had done that and I got following results:
HTML:
Your Opcache Operator extension is functioning, however it is unable to store data. Please check your extension configuration.

Flush Cache - Ajax Failure - Internal Server Error (I got this in a pop up msg)

Now, when I go to Forum Manager -> Edit Forum -> Click Save
I get a blank page

I know this is because of the failures above, need some help in sorting it out. What should be done and how ?

I tried disabling the plugin and checking it up and it was working fine again with saving forum setting in forum manager.

Unfortunately XCache is known to be incompatible with the vast majority of server setups. Could you please try installing Memcached instead?

If not, you'll need to switch to the Filecache method - while it's not as effective, it will at least work :)

with Flush Cache alone - I get the message as Test Completed successfully and not the error msg which I got with xCache, the remaining 2 errors are the same ones repeating.

need some assistance

If you still get the "unable to store data" message it's a problem with the configuration (or memcached isn't actually running, did you start it?) which we're sadly unable to assist with.

memcache is turned on and it was edited in config.php too.
I am not much technical person so I am giving out the info to my outsourced management team. They said memcache is running and xcache is un-installed.

what kind of configurations do I need to check and how ?
Do u want to check out the settings, I will pm u my shell details. I got a "dedi", so absolutely no restrictions with settings.
