Bug q always = 1

I'm trying to accomplish this:



If not the additional product thing, then just a flat rate for each item being purchased. I've tried q * 3.99 and +3.99, 3.99 and several variations that would seem to make sense based on the public tickets I've searched, but it's not working for me. Whether I have one item in my cart or 12, it's just $3.99.





I tried adding just "q" to the formula, and that's only giving me a value of 1 even when there's more than 1 of that same item in the cart. Maybe I'm just stupid and didn't read the manual.

Still haven't figured this out. q = 1 no matter what, seems like a bug?

q does not refer to the quantity of each item, it refers to the number of unique items using this shipping method. In other words, if you order 100 of Product A and 1 of Product B, q = 2. This does indeed not seem consistent with the description of the q variable.

I can see how this would be unclear, so I will make changes in the next version.

I'll leave this open for now and let you know when the new version is released.

Thank you. So there's no way for me to use this, currently? Or is there another way so I can continue my project? X shipping per item seems like it should be possible somehow...

I guess I could add the per-shipping cost to the product price but then my prices look high even if shipping is "free". Given the structure of the plugin, I'd be interested in how you yourself would approach something like this. where I'm selling mugs or hats and using the following matrix:

I added a hotfix, try re-downloading and re-importing eCommerce.
