Replacement for Gameroom/Casino

Shockingly, there is no up-to-date mod for vBulletin that allows users to play against one another in card and board games. The Gameroom mod allows users to play poker, chess, checkers, and even connect four and battleship against one another, with built-in chat functionality, but it is unsupported and has not been updated in about a year-and-a-half. Not only does it look dated, but I would hesitate to install it for fear that it could be easily exploited by hackers.

I think a mod that allows this type of competition among users, with games everyone knows, would be pretty successful. It would probably sell at least as well as Triple Triad (if not a lot more) and would probably require less graphic design work. You could avoid copyright issues, too, since even battleship and connect four are old games that predate their most famous versions.

Darkwaltz queue may have a different timeline than the other coders, plus David went to college so DB needs to re-jig..

Different coders work different schedules on different products =)

As Freekoid mentioned there have been changes in the staff team as well which has impacted the development time of updates as well as mods in progress.

It's unlikely, but I would never say never. It's a mod that would require a HUGE time commitment, and it would have to sell extremely well to be worthwhile.
