Bug Search area doesn't empty upon category tab change.

The search word stays in search area as you notice my tab is on sports.

Upon moving cursor to empty search field the AJAX brings back the content of my original search.

the search tab is the results of that query. whats wrong with it?

I guess its more of an annoying thing, as you go back into the search field you cant highlite the word and press delete on the keyboard, when you left click to start backspace the search is returned again.

If this is intended then fair enough.

Oh, i see what you mean. Doesnt let you click the text like normal, because it treats it as clicking the tab. i can fix that i think.

well, i think the reason it wont let you select text is because its an input inside an anchor, but i cant change the wrapper without losing the default styling from vb (and i dont want to copy that because then it wont pick up a custom style!)

so... i guess i can fallback on what you suggested - just clear out the text if they click into the box. they can still get to the old results by clicking the word search instead of in the box though, so they wont have to re-search if thats what they wanted.
