Shoutbox loading until clicking

When entering the forumhome page Shoutbox is just showing the text "Loading...". When clicking on the Shoutbox it changes and you can see the shouts produced. Any ideas to how to remove the "Loading..." text from the start - as on dragonbyte-tech.com?

Did you CHMOD the /dbtech/vbshout/aop directory to 0777?

Yes, did that.

Can you try downloading the files again and re-uploading them? It's possible you have an older set of files as they got updated a lot around the time of release

The loading issue dissapered. Seems I didn't CHMOD directory after all.
How do I get the dropdown at shout target to appear. I went through the settings and I don't see why it shouldn't.
Also there is this strange bullet at the left corner.

The bullet will be fixed in the upcoming 5.1 release which will be released on Friday, along with various other vB 3.8 style issues.
vBulletin 3.8 does not have the Shout Target dropdown because its dropdown system does not support the text field entry, so unfortunately we had to remove it
