Question Switch Image

Maybe I need a reminder...when the slider pulls an image is there a way to insert or switch it for another with an edit within the post?

Not currently. Depending on your settings, it will either pull the first attachment, or the first IMG tag. In the next version, I plan on adding a new bbcode which will work like a standard IMG tag, but allow for a specific image to be used in the slider (ie, it will look for the new bbcode first, then it will look for either an attachment or img if it doesn't find it).

What if the image/attachment is delete then a new one added or is this just going leave a blank (No Pic) in the slider?

Again, it kind of depends on your settings. But, if the IMG is deleted, and your settings allow, it will look for the first IMG tag in the 1st post content, or the first attachment. Similar for the attachment, it will either look for the first attachment currently associated, or the first IMG tag. If none are found, then it will default to the default slider image as setting in the options.

Okay what are the settings here on dbtech because at the moment that is where I am attempting to change it.

Unfortunately, I can't tell you right now, as I can't access the ACP from my phone . But if you aren't getting the results you expect, try flushing the browser cache. Even then, it could possibly not be responding due to vBOptimize storing what you originally had. Fillip H. may be able to confirm that.
