Question @Tagging with a space in the usernname?

A user at my site has a username which is identical to his real first and last name, including the space between names (ex: Scott Lastname). I tried tagging him, but was unsuccessful.

Simply using: @Scott Lastname tagged the person with the username Scott.

I tried to employ the semicolon option (making sure it was enabled in Admin options): @Scott Lastname; But doing so just gives me literally what you see there: @Scott Lastname; (no link under the name, no mention tag, nothing - just @Scott Lastname.

I tried using the mention tag manually, per the plugin's manual. This simply rendered the "@" sign, but where the username was supposed to be was blank once the post was submitted. Like this: @

I was hoping that the auto-complete feature in v3.13 would help out in this regard, but either it wasn't working or I was trying to use it incorrectly.

Are you sure the username was spelled correctly? Every instance of this problem in the past has been that the "longer username" didn't actually exist.

You're not the only one who confuses Thread Tags with Mentions. Even Cosmic, who designed the features, gets them mixed up
