How about an option to select "Appear in first post only"

This has been suggested before by others including myself many months ago, is it every going to appear? I am fed up answering the same question over and over on my forum because they are thanking every other post rather than original to get the attachment to show.

This is much needed and i bet i am not the only one bored now with mutli answering same question.

I would be happy even if there was a manual quick fix for this. So frustrated with this product at the moment.

It will indeed get added, along with better default selected options and everything else people have suggested

As for when, that's not so clear.

What I would ask you to please understand is that APTL has just recently gotten a major update, taking it from v1.0.x to v1.1.x, which addressed the majority of complaints people had with the product. I may be mistaken, but I don't believe that back then anybody mentioned anything about first post only - it was all about reputation integration, which we delivered upon.

We also allowed people to create their own buttons, which elevated the product beyond a simple "post thanks mod" as it allows admins to "re-theme" the mod to fit their exact forum.

I notice that you have not yet purchased vBShop. It could be that you have no use for it, or it could be that you feel that vBShop as it stands is not better than vBPlaza (even though it's unsupported) or Points Market System, which isn't a completely illogical conclusion.
vBShop has not yet received a major update like every single one of our other modifications (sans PBTabs, which is still too new) and as such is in dire need of one.

Please try to see it from the perspective of people who have purchased vBShop. They purchased it, just like you purchased your mods, in the assumption that it will be getting overhauls and updates that will improve it and its usefulness for their forum.

If we take all our time in order to improve APTL to make it perfect for your forum, then how would the people who bought vBShop feel?


In short: All our mods are updated on rotation, APTL has recently received a major update so it's now time to update vBShop before we re-examine whether we should update another mod or start creating a new one, etc.

I have no need at the moment for vBShop or vBPlaza but yes i do understand were your coming from and understand it takes time, if i come across impatient it is not intentional but as you know this product is not working as it should and i have had issues with it on my site since upgrading it. Thank you for the reply

As far as I know there are no outstanding bugs in the product.
