Unless im mistaken there is no way for a user to show off his cards. I mean you can see statistics and such but thats it.

1. I guess what I am saying is maybe te OPTION for an admin to input a small graphical icon when building decks to be used in the postbit, or maybe user profile area....something. Think of how cool/fun it would be to show off your collection, especially when making trades and such. I think it would make for a very fun (and addictive) element to this game.

2.I propose not only that but an in game award system of some kind. Being able to setup awards for tournaments, battles, challenges....etc.

3. Lastly deck icons/preview - it would be nice to have a graphical representation of what it is youre buying. As of right now is the only option simply a link to "buy"?

The awards thing is possible in vBActivity I believe, you can setup various Achievements for various TT actions :)

We'll take the rest of the suggestions into consideration for a future version :)

Thanks! I really enjoy your companies products and intend on installing many of them, a big part of why I keep bouncing ideas.

Hey DevinM and Dragonbyte gurus.

I too have been pondering similar things to DevinM. My problem or course is I have limited knowledge of coding so i can't implement what i am saying in code. However, i think it should be simple with what you see below:

In the database for the triple triad game in the table called dbt_triad_cards, you'll find a list of all the battle cards that are in the shop for sale. Each card has its own id as you can see in the image under the column called "cid". I made my own example card called 'TEST1'. It has the number 111 as its ID.

Now, lets say you got the TEST1 card in your inventory of cards. If you'll look at the image below, this is the database table called dbt_triad_playercards. It is where each player's own personal cards are stored. In the vbulletin admincp, if you go to the USERS list, you'll see that i am User 1. If you look at the column called 'p_userid', this is the ID of the vbulletin user. As you see, I currently own 12 cards. Notice that card number 111 is on there. This is the one I created called TEST1. Both the 'cid' number from above and the 'p_card' number here match.

Now for what i am asking. All I need is for Vbactivity to look at the 'p_card' number, then look at the 'p_userid' number.
For the achievement to be earned, the player must own that card. Or, what it would look like in Vbactivity:

example5.jpg

This will give a player an achievement for having the card called TEST1, or cid #111. The icon for the achievement will show other people playing the game that he has this card. This may make them want to try and battle him for it, trade with him, steal it, whatever. Do you see where I am coming from here on this? :)

I really hope this makes sense and you can possibly use it. Thanks!

could someone please, please look at my above post and reply? This is very important to me and really is a dealmaker or breaker for me buying this product! Thank you

I will tag tag this @Fillip H. , but you should have started a new thread as this one ha been marked a feature request under consideration, that is why it has possibly been overlooked.

really!? I didnt know that. Can i ask why? :P

The artist who had created the images included was unable to show that the images were properly licensed - No one from Square Enix etc has ever been in touch with us, but until we can get any potential issues cleared up Triple Triad will remain unavailable for purchase.

what if you were never going to use those default final fantasy images? I run a star wars site and was working on cards just for that. I dont care anything about FF at all.

Selling it without images isn't really a route we want to go down, it brings its own set of hassles from customers etc to be honest.
