Bug VBNotify not working correctly = looks very strange/no function

I've been biting my nails waiting for gold - and I'm sure it's good.... but it's not working for me.
Haven't modified anything in the admincp = it's all standard install (just want it to do/look like the DBTech website).

It doesn't break my templates - but it sure doesn't look right.
Instead of a pretty graphic pop up = there's a static black smear that says "new notifications"..... you can't click on it or anything = just static text.

I think it's all turned on and enabled - no error messages during the install.

The black smear it right above the "Front Page" = it looks like this on all CMS pages.

I think this might be a result of the recent migration to CSS templates! I'll have a fix shortly hopefully!

I updated to 1.03 = no change.

Tried doing that changing to "CSS as files" = and that jacked up my whole site (spacing was all messed up, to the extreme).
Any hope on the horizon?

I didn't get it fixed in 1.0.3. I'll have the fix very soon!
