Bug Wrong visualizzation

Hi,
I have this plugin installed from 3 weeks but I cannot let it start, because the plugin is not visualized good.
Can you please help me in fix this?




There is a blank background....

Sorry for the delay in replying to this markoroots, I thought this was a reply to another thread. It would help if you could be clearer in your thread title what is the issue.

As said in previous threads, this is an issue with your custom skin.

As demonstrated with this listing:

You'll notice the background appears. I've checked this on several not default skins we have here and they all correctly show the background. You will need to contact your skin/style developer to get the issue resolved.

We have just understand that is a compatibility issue between my skin and your plugin...

I download 2 month ago the last upgrade (released in August) of the skin of my forum and all plugins work well.

I have problems only with the visualization of this plugin from when I have installed it.

Can I have support from you for this product I have bought from you?

Hi Marko,

We cannot provide support for third party skins which do not display properly when using our mods. We obviously cannot guarantee other people's work will be compatible with ours and we are unable to make changes to their work in order to make it compatible with our mods.

Our mods are designed to be compatible with the default skin and it is not possible for us to change our mod to account for the way individual skins break default functionality.

If you are having issues with the default skin we will be more than happy to assist, but we cannot customise the modification just for you as part of the support service.

To perhaps help either yourself or your skin developer, we use the following StyleVariables throughout Classifieds to grab a consistent background formatting:

sidebar_background
sidebar_border
border_radius
shadow_color
sidebar_content_bevel
sidebar_content_background
sidebar_content_padding

Hi Mokonzi and thanks for the informations.
It look more simple to fix it, but I don't know where to change this value.
If you look here:


You can see that the colour signed is set to "Transparent"
but if I change the colour by clicking on the "Transparent" write, in the page, the background change and it fix.

But in this page is there only a visualization page and not the real file modified, in fact if I refresh the page the fix disappear.

So where I have to go to change this colour from "Transparent" to "#F2F2F2" in the real page inside the acp where to fix it permanently?

Yup, you are just changing it through the browser locally until the page refreshes. You need to use the Style editing section of the Admin Control Panel. Check through the StyleVars in that Style section in the style you are changing for the ones I mentioned in my last post. Saving the data there will then change it on your site properly.

What have you got in your settings? Are there some listings that have been marked as Featured?

In the DragonByte ACP section for settings, the page DragonByte Tech: Classifieds - Advert Settings has some options for the Featured Listings boxes... are they enabled there?

The box will only appear if there are listings that are marked as 'feature', so has anyone got any adverts listed like that?
