Question Tag editor

Currently the tag editor is only visible if a user selects the "Start discussion" button or clicks "More options" when starting a new thread. It makes it really difficult to get users to use tags in threads.

Can I suggest that the tag editor gets moved below the Discussion title field?

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean, the tags input exists in the quick discussion starter too:

Ah, in the "Quick discussion" area it only shows up if the group/section enforces a "Minimum tags" setting. You should turn this on for your social group if you want members to tag the content they're posting.

Okay that makes sense. I see that if I require at least one it shows up in the editor. Cool.
