Hi,

I use this mod on my forum and the majority of users love it, including myself. However, there are a number of users who do not wish to use the mod and have complained about it lacking a feature where he or she can disable it for themselves individually. Some of them want me to remove the entire mod because they had never wanted to be bothered with the notifications in the first place; but neither myself nor the majority of the user-base is in agreement. To reach a happy middle ground on the subject I was wondering if it would be possible for you to add something like this onto the mod.

Thanks
~ Mike

The Pro version allows members to restrict each feature to people on their friends lists.

I'll leave this open since this deals with disabling each feature outright, but fair warning it will probably be a Pro-only feature :)

Is there any way you could throw us a bone and make it for the non-pro version? I don't think it's too much to ask for since it's a pretty standard addition. How much would the pro version cost if you decide to go through with this?

Thanks for taking the time to consider this.

What's standard for one person is a bonus extra for another :)

Yeah, which is why I asked :P

You can find the pricing scheme for AUT here: Advanced User Tagging - DragonByte Tech | vBulletin Mods & Addons

We will always announce price increases and allow people a grace period of buying a new version while it's in Pro-only Beta before we increase the price - not to say that will happen, though.

What are the chances that you will add this option?

I don't have an answer for that unfortunately :(

I'm not the one in charge of feature lists - it will get looked at and weighted by how much time it takes to implement vs the benefit it adds to the product. The more people request it, the more value it will be perceived as adding.

Less formal answer: It won't take an exorbitant amount of time to add, so it will probably be added in the next major update.

And before you ask: No, we don't have an ETA or even a guess as to when we will begin work on the next major update for this mod - not only do we not plan further ahead than our current project (as soon as a project is completed, we re-evaluate every single mod and decide which is more deserving of an update) but we're also currently quite busy getting ready for the launch of vBulletin 5 Connect :)
