So, I've implemented both vbShout Lite and vbOptomize Lite on my site and I'm considering upgrading to the 3 month license of the pro versions for both but I'm hesitant right now. Ever since I installed vbShout, my site has been timing out like crazy. There's periods during the day where I...

What's the difference between the free ones and the ones to purchase?
For example: download vBShout for free in Life Downloads vs. Pay $100 in Purchase
what's the difference between those two?

This is what I suggest : Idle Timeout to Idle Delayed
Idle Timeout: Yes/No [Seconds]
Enter the number of seconds until users are flagged as Idle/Delayed and won't see any new shouts / notices (unless you have delayed enabled) or until they either un-idle themselves, or post a shout.
Idle...
Maybe add a setting where auto idle can be disabled per usergroup.
for example I would like all staff usergroup to never idle and maintain a constant shoutbox
I am pretty sure both of these errors are Operator Errors...as in I missed uploading a file or put a file in the wrong place (oy veh!). So...here I am already whining for help.
Error #1 (print out below) occurs when I am in My Profile/Edit Settings and click on Save. This happens whether I have...

After refreshing I keep getting this message:
Notice: You are currently showing up as idle. Click here to resume activity.
I have the idle timeout set to 0
The second issue is after a refresh the px for chat size reverts to 11, is their a way to change it to something else, or make it so...
Ok, let me try to explain, you use FireFox so you'll probably know what I mean.
So I goto my webpage, do my thing. I close the browser down with my website loaded.
Next time I open firefox, it opens a cached version of the page.
So when I do that, every time the 10 seconds ticks by that...
Here's a screenshot I photoshopped, I've used infernoshout for years and when I did I restyled it to look pretty much as the my attached image. I think it look much better that way.
Added a 1px border around the shoutbox, moved the collapse icon so that it's centered and moved the input options...
It's very trendy to have both a forum AND a chatbox. But not every community uses both features equally, so it's interesting to see the differences from site to site.
On your community (if you use both forum and a chatbox), how often do your members use the Chatbox? Do you have regulars that...

I turned on Auto Idle before. It seems to work fine.
However when I turned it off again, I am still showing up as idle even after a complete page refresh.
Today's topic: ZOMBIES!
When it comes to an Apocalypse, I think one of the scariest would have to be Zombies. So tell me, what do you think would be the worst and scariest kind of Zombie Apocalypse? There's so many different kinds of zombies!
Make this so that it uses usegroups instead of a global on/off.
That way I could make it auto idle say registered users, but not my normal members, etc.
