There really needs to be a switch in each user's control panel to turn the notifications on or off. Some members find them annoying but others find them necessary.

Is the notification when a user is tagged or quoted supposed to be via the standard vB notification system (PM or email)? It didn't work on my test. Or do I need to buy your Notifications add-on to get that? I'll turn it back on and test again if it should have worked. Thanks.

Private Message notifications are the only notifications that work in vb notifications. This problem occurs even after I activated the notifications in settings. Also occurs in the default vb style.

When enabling and disabling vBNotifications in the vB Admin this warning comes up

Option in acp to set the notifications color, when you are set to legacy mode to another color, right now it is hard coded in vbnotifications.js to red, users may need to change the color to look proper on custom skins.

The options for colors etc need to be removed for those using legacy. My members are already confused.

Was curious how the notifications are "discovered", it looks like it found some thanks/like as well as VBA stuff, but there's nothing for say vbShout, vBDownloads, etc. Was wondering if there was a specific action in these mods that I could trigger that would cause any notifications to be shown?
