Hi again,

I found a few small issues I believe?

1) Basically there is an issue with the wanted items showing under Items for Sale when you click on a category (please see attachment)

2) small alignment issue of the text and advert in the classifieds bar (please see attachment)

3) If you preview your submission and then click the submit it posts the HTML markup (IE BR / for a line break).

4) this issue I think is related to my forum as I have edited the navbar quite allot... but the drop downs are not appearing on the navbar for me, can I manually add them?

Kind Regards

The left/right arrow (#2) has been mentioned before. I've got to work over some other issues with the JavaScript in the way it works so will take a look at it at the same time.

Regarding #1 , I'd not noticed that issue. Well spotted. Will get that sorted. #3 is also news to me. Better see what's causing that issue. :)

And for #4 , how are you altering your navbar? In the templates? Are you editing them via the Navigation Manager?

I edit the navbar template directly.

it could also be some other modifications causing this, this is not the first time this has happened to my forum to be fair, I know this works as its fine on my test forum...

Does that use a hook, if yes could you tell me which one :)

Thank you.

No hook used directly in vB4.2.x, just the Navigation Manager.

I manipulate the display of the Moderation Queue using a hook. I'm not sure which is it off hand, but as long as the condition that displays the Moderation Queue link is in the template like how it's used in the Navigation Manager and you have the HTML element structured similarly, you should be fine. I can check tomorrow for you if you find issues with it still.

Hi Mokonzi,

Are you talking about the navtab?

I was speaking about the links that get you to the usercp options areas for the classifieds.

IE your links that are in the same place as the normal quick links?

Thanks very much.

Mick

Yep. They are all linked under the Navigation Manager. When you load the page Manager in the ACP you will need to click on the tab for Classifieds (that is it's default name) and then you will see all the menus and sublinks open up below it. You can see how they work there. :)

Yes I can see them sorry about that.

They are all ticked, So they should show up... but as I said before this is not the first time I have seen this and is no fault of the classifieds!

Something to do with my forums or a mod that is installed???

Not really sure where to look though, any suggestions what would cause a conflict with that area?

Does the navigation manager not use hooks to place the links?

Regards
Mick

If you can PM me some details, I'll have a look when I get chance either later tonight (my time) or first thing in the morning. :)

I fixed it,

Reverted the navbar template, and I have made the changes but making sure it complies with the new Navigation Manager.

Thanks Mokonzi, if you never mentioned the navigation manager I would not of knew where to start... to be honest I never even knew it was there!

I quite like it very useful!

Fixed the remaining errors you listed here for Beta 14... and I found a few other little issues because I was trying to fix them... so altogether a very valuable bug report post this was. :)
