ok this had me frustrated to no end i did finally get this to work and what i had to do is highlight the permissions in Edit Notification Type then save this however is not good imo it wont let me highlight certain usergroups so i had to do them all ... i would like check boxes for this so i can check and uncheck the usergroups i want ...

You should re-post that as a feature request

on another note the black box that appears it goes away very quickly how do i change this ...

also i cannot have full bar and Legacy System put to yes the bar goes away and it doesnt work perhaps there is a solution for that

one last thing i have a mod its VSA pm system enhancements and what that does is when you get a pm it blinks the notification with vbnotications in full swing this does nothing even in legacy and bar turned off as of now i have vsa disabled

is it even possible to get this blinking perhaps

I don't believe so, this mod will remove the legacy notification area.

yes i can clarify here is picture i cant have legacy put to yes it dosent work



explain why the black box disappears suddenly then there has to be a time limit on this right in seconds


what i meant is perhaps get something to blink for vbnotifications perhaps on that bar

I just tested out the Legacy setting here on DBTech and it works with no issues

Can you please try it on a default (unmodified) skin?

i have tried it on all my skins including a default one and when i put to yes for legacy the bar goes away so this dont work right for me

The bar should go away with the Legacy mode, it's intended to work similar to disabling the mod, I believe.

if that is the case is there a way to change that members that choose not to have any notifications displayed cause they disable that via user cp wont see anything

Sorry, I don't quite understand what you're asking.

If members want to opt out of seeing any notifications, they have the option to do so in the UserCP. Are you saying you want to take this option away from them?

i may be confusing myself lol ok lets rewind so if want to use this in legacy mode i have to have Full Notification Bar set to no correct

and if i want to use the bar i have to have Legacy System set to no

so to clarify if i have both these settings set yes they will cancel each other out and vbnotifications will not work properly

maybe this is where i am getting messed up cause i figured we could have both
