Bug External URL Are Not Being Posted As Links or With Titles

When I post a link or URL the url in the thread or post is not linked (clickable) and it is not being re-written with a title.
Maybe there is a setting I am missing but I couldn't see one.

I have also noticed this happening in PM's as well.

DBSEO is not responsible for automatically parsing text into links, that is 100% vBulletin and this conversion happens prior to DBSEO touching the message.

As for why a link doesn't get converted into a title, there's a multitude of reasons for this. If it takes longer than (I believe) 2 seconds to load the remote page, it doesn't get parsed. If the remote page doesn't have a <title> tag, it doesn't get parsed. If cURL isn't working correctly on your server for whatever reason... you can guess the rest

Unfortunately there's no fast and easy way of grabbing page titles

Thanks. Page title isn't a big concern but the link is.
I see now that the link is fine. Is that possible from the time I posted it last night and posted the ticket here that it now shows as a link? That is a long time.

I guess I should ask my host to upgrade my PHP for starters and then check the server.

We run PHP 5.6 here @ DBTech, but then again we don't use many 3rd party products.

Ok so my host upgraded to 5.6 and now links are parsing perfectly and titles are now working as it should.
