Here we go! A few things which would make my life easier!

• Allow entries to appear in multiple categories
• Category header layout (like the category/forum layout in the forums)
• Allow admins to change owner of a file or upload a file as another user (would help immenseley n my massive task of moving stuff in the forums to the downloads area and then having to edit each userid in phpmyadmin)
• Make the download comments and the auto-created thread the same thing
• Promote forum thread with attachments
• Options for sort order of downloads (date, alphabetical, by rating, by popularity)
• Full pages for popular, top rated, and new downloads
• BB code or HTML in the page intro text header box
• Show category description at top of category

Conflicts can be easily resolved with a graceful error message. "The category you have selected does not allow that file type".

Page intro header box - just checked, you call it a welcome notice. It allows BB code but not HTML. Actually, that's not important; I can write BB codes for any formatting I need.

Category descriptions are the descriptions that show next to each category. It would be helpful for those who have navigated to a specific category (via a direct link from elsewhere, perhaps) to have that description display at the top of the page when viewing that category so they know what they're looking at.
