Hi All,

I have the InfoPanels and various other mods integrated into my upcoming website at www.ukmoney.tv But, can someone please tell me which DB mods contain the following features, or whether these are default VB features:

1) a. Taken from http://www.dragonbyte-tech.com/forums/9-DragonByte-Technologies-Product-Support:

"Forum Information and Options
Users Browsing this Forum
There are currently 5 users browsing this forum. (1 members & 4 guests)
overhere"

b. Taken from this very page, lower down it says:

"Thread Information
There are currently 2 users browsing this thread. (2 members and 0 guests)
overhere ,
Trekkan"

2) Taken from http://www.dragonbyte-tech.com/forum.php:

"Spam-O-Matic Statistics
529 Spammers Denied Registration
4 Spammers Permanently Banned
4 Spammers submitted to StopForumSpam"

3) Taken again from http://www.dragonbyte-tech.com/forum.php:

The specific bit "Average Shouts: 3"

(I know the following I do not have as my VB forum script does not include Blogs nor have I added the vBOptimise mod to my site):

Blogs:9Entries:48Last 24 Hours:1
Latest Blog Entry, vBMail Released, DBTech & Xenforo and more by Cosmic
MySQL Queries vB Optimise has saved this forum: 79,158,381

4) Also at http://www.dragonbyte-tech.com/forum.php you see:

"Latest News: vBQuiz v1.1 has been released"

Is this part of the InfoPanels mod? Idf so, where is this used? Or is this something outside of InfoPanels?

Thank you,

O.H.

1) look on vb.org for WHo's Online Forum Block (this is in the styles and templates forum I think)

2) Glow Host Spam O Matic mod on vb.org as well.

3) From DBTech's vBShout Mod (at least the shouts part), the other part is from DBTech's vBOptimize mod, Blogs are default through vB I'm pretty sure.

4) Yes, that's the latest IP mod, so make sure you download and install the latest version.

Thank you. Please clarify:

1. On this site I went to my 'Find all posts' and 'Find all started threads' etc., but, none of these show the this thread/post which I started? Is there some bug or am I not going to the right spot?

2. Also on this site, I sent myself a message, at the bottom left side a small window creeped up saying i got a new message - what module is this part of? (I have enabled notifications on my site but I get pop up window only?).

Regards.

1. Where did you go to to find that?

2. That is DBT'S new Mod vBNotifications, it is still in beta stage at the moment.

Thansk. When you are logged in, and you click your own username at the top right of the page before My Profile and Settings etc., you get taken to the page where you see:

Find all posts
Find all started threads

I clicked on both but both did not show me the above post? Its only showing me older posts? What would be the issue here?

Regards.

Ok I see now, not sure it is showing from 1 week ago, Fillip H. will have to look into that in the ACP

I think it has something to do with how often the search index is being updated. I was having the same problem yesterday myself.

The search issue is nothing we can assist with, we're using DigitalPoint's Sphinx search, which may have problems.

vBNotifications is the mod responsible for the notifs, nothing to do with InfoPanels.

so are you saying if Find all Threads and Find all Posts do not work that this is simply a VB default script issue? Is this right?
Thanks.

No, I'm saying that there's several different reasons why it doesn't work for you on your site. We cannot provide support for it.

But it is a default feature of VB right, it isnt a feature resulting from one of your mods which I have on my site right?

About your no. 3 reply above where it says on your homepage under Forum Stats '"Average Shouts: 3" - how does this relate to or reflect to what is actually being shown in your Shoutbox module on your homepage? How has it arrived at '3'? Basically what does "Average Shouts: 3" tell? Thanks.

Thank you. I have looked at your Shoutbox mod ... what do you mean by a 'Shout'? When I see 'Shoutbox' in there it shows blabla has 'just replied to thread xxxxx'' etc. is this a Shout? Or is it something else?

That is a notification to alert users their has been a thread or post made.

A shout is something you type in the shoutbox.

Thanks:

As you say you make a shout in the shoutbox bit, fine. But here, you can aslo see "*s3ponline
has just replied to the thread User Mood Dropdown Not working!* @ [21:36]"

But you see this again in 'Notification'? Isn't this a duplicate?

Regards.
