When the slider is enabled on the forum, either above or below, the alignment gets distorted and centered under the slider. The footer gets pushed to the top, etc.
Working fine on the CMS.

It looks like there is probably a missing closing tag or something in a template somewhere, although I doubt its in the vBSlider template, as this is the first instance of this I have seen or heard about.

Could you please create and PM me with a temporary AdminCP account?

For security reasons, we recommend you create a new AdminCP account only for DBTech support, then disable or delete it after we have both confirmed the issue has been solved and there are no further issues. It should ideally be a temporary account created for us only. If we have created an account on your site already, you can optionally boost that account to Administrator and then de-admin this account once the issue has been solved.

If you use a .htaccess password protection for your AdminCP directory, it is recommended that you create a new authorised user for DBTech and remove this user once the issue has been solved.

Please test any temporary accounts you create to ensure that the AdminCP account can access the administrative controls for the product we are assisting you with.

Ensuring this is all in order before submitting the information will significantly speed up the process of assisting you. We will alert you via PM if there's any issues with the login information you have provided.

When sending the PM, for your security you should also un-tick the "Save a copy in my Sent Items folder" checkbox. When the access details have been received, we will delete the PM from our inbox. Ensuring you have not kept a copy of the PM reduces the risk of security breaches.

Thank you for helping us debug our products and allowing us to assist you, we appreciate it

Ok, the issue wasn't with the slider itself, but with one of the threads that was being displayed. I narrowed it down to the thread that displays info on your CafePress items. It looks like you embedded some HTML from CafePress into the thread. This caused a DIV to go unclosed because the slider brought in the content from the thread, but only up to the character limit. Since there was an unclosed DIV, it took a closing DIV for the slider and screwed up everything past that point. I reduced your thread count for the slider from 5 to 3, which skipped the CafePress thread, and all is working fine now. I am not sure this is something that can be fixed in the code, but perhaps Fillip H. would have a better idea.

There's currently no way that I know of to avoid corrupt HTML like that, except for possibly stripping HTML altogether.

I'll add this to a hotfix to the Slider momentarily.

I do notice it is working fine now. I will ensure all html is closed properly or just skip those threads altogether.
Cheers

Hi Fillip H.,
Did this hotfix ever get added? I just had a problem with the site crashing and was caused by the slider which I am sure is due to this prior HTML issue.
I had to uninstall the mod and now the site is fine.

Correct, I've added HTML stripping to the display of all content types except Custom Content (where if you break the HTML it's yo own damn fault! :p)
