Our forum deals with questions about Microsoft Excel. A fair number of questions are dealing with questions about how to mark cells that are below 80% or not quite 100% or how to calculate a % of the total. We have a lot of historical posts with a % sign in the title and a lot of people who are trying to post a new thread such as "How can I calculate a % of the Total".

For someone trying to post a new thread with a % in the title, they are getting an error from Google Chrome:
Bad Request: Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.

When someone clicks through to a link to a past thread with a % in the thread title, the post throws errors. Our moderators have to manually edit the thread title to say "percent" instead of %.

Thanks

This is not a bug. Change the "Filter Non-Latin Characters" setting to Remove or Replace Non-Latin Characters.

If that doesn't work, make sure UTF-8 isn't enabled further down on the same settings page :)
