Question How to insert license fields in the checkout page?

I've tried editing "dbtech_ecommerce_checkout" after the example of order fields but did not succeed. Unfortunately, need help.

I need to 1) collect some mandatory information in the checkout phase before a customer purchases a product and 2) display it in License info and License list. A license field would be perfect for this, except the add-on does not allow one to insert license fields on the checkout page.

That is not possible. Order fields are the only ones that can be used to collect info prior to checkout and is only used for the purchase threads. License fields are set per-license and can only be collected after checkout once a license is generated.
