Idle Timeout to Idle Delayed

This is what I suggest : Idle Timeout to Idle Delayed

Idle Timeout: Yes/No [Seconds]
Enter the number of seconds until users are flagged as Idle/Delayed and won't see any new shouts / notices (unless you have delayed enabled) or until they either un-idle themselves, or post a shout.

Idle Delayed: Yes/No [Seconds]
This setting controls how often (in seconds) the Shoutbox updates while a user has been flagged as Idle.

This is the way I have things set up right now: Shoutbox refresh speed is set to 5 seconds. And then in 240 seconds people become idle and can not see any new shouts, which for some is annoying.

Instead I want it like this: Shoutbox refresh speed set to 5 seconds. And then in 240 seconds the shoutbox refresh speed will be set to 60 seconds until they unidle themselves.

This is a good idea, and one i'll be looking to add to the next version. There could potentially be load issues though, but we'll look into it ^.^

Isn't this already a feature? 5.2 added refresh speed while idle, or am I imagining things? :S
Only we added in minutes rather than in seconds while idle :

IIRC, that only checks for invites and stuff, doesn't refresh shouts.

Naw it refreshes everything, it was made in minutes for load reasons.

Oh, maybe you are one step ahead of me already. I don't think the feature works tho, as I have not seen any new shouts come in until I have manually refreshed or shouted.

Also it would be nice to have it do a countdown for the user like you do with the InfoPannels:
Fetching data in 41 seconds. and Reload

We don't have room to do it, but I'll add an optional extra bar at the bottom beneath the Shout Controls for this in the next version

Yeah the feature of it refreshing every minute even when idle is not working in 3.8.x

It has been 12 hours and no new shouts have shown up, even tho tons have occurred.
