Hi, I am finally up and running with the lite version and have some of my colleagues setup with lists. Just had some feedback that I think would result in a better user experience:

1 - When a user goes to the mailing list page, the subscribe button is pretty small - especially when you consider a page that might have many mailing lists. I'd suggest a larger button that will serve as a good call to action to Subscribe (or I guess Unsubscribe) to a list.

2 - Subscribing to multiple lists is a bit of a pain. If #1 is implemented, could the subscribe function be AJAX'd? If not, could multiple lists be selected and then one big "Subscribe to Selected" button be pressed?

3 - I would like to see the ability to specify which columns are shown to non-admin types (everyone other than those who can send and those who can view stats) - so basically, for the average forum goer, I really only want them to see the List Name, List Description, and a Subscribe/Unsubscribe button. Maybe the history.

Ok, and other than that - as I mentioned in another thread - I would reallllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy love for non-forum members to be able to submit an email that requires a confirmation click to be added to the list. It would reduce the barrier to building a large list tremendously. (Unless the "Ability to create External mailing lists, powered by emails not found in vBulletin user accounts" feature is already what does this... I kind of don't get that)

I would gladly pay a reasonable price for the above features and improvements.

At the moment, external mailing lists only work by manually adding emails via the AdminCP. During the Beta period, nobody provided any feedback as to how they wanted it to function, so we decided not to develop the feature any further until we got some more feedback on it :) It's a Pro-only feature, though.

For the future, could you please post separate feature requests in separate threads? If we only implement one or two of the features, we will not be able to go back and review the other features as it will be marked as Implemented :)

Hello Fillip H. what exactly are we looking for?
If I said I wanted to import contacts from my:

Hotmail
Gmail
Outlook

Would that be it?

or are we looking for something else...
how they wanted it to function
???

Kind of, but do you really want to add your personal contacts to an external mailing list? :P
