Looking for way to let a usergroup other than Moderator move threads

Hi,

Do you have a product that would work on a 3.8.x site that would allow a usergroup or even individual members the ability to move other people's threads?

Ideally I would like to be able to have a defined usergroup that is not the moderator group the ability to just move threads.

All other permissions remain the same as to what they can do now, just add the ability to move other people's threads from one section to another.


If you have something like this or can create something like this for me, please let me know.

As far as I know, not even our Threadmins product (which for the moment is vB4 only) can move threads - at least I can't find that in the feature list.

If it wasn't included - Mokonzi feel free to correct me here - then it couldn't be done. I believe moving threads depends on having permissions in both the source and destination forums, something that would add complexity and/or open up additional permissions you do not want users to have.

Yeah, that is correct, Threadmins doesn't allow for that. It might be possible to do it, but it would be complex to do as you say.
