Refresh

Do I need to have refresh enabled?
I like/need to scroll to older shouts only to kicked back to newer shouts, presumably due to refresh.

Can I disable it?

You could try setting the Refresh Time to 0, but I'm not sure if that'll work or what will happen to the Shoutbox if you do it. Just be careful, if it changes to 1 automatically no matter what you write, set it higher, to save server load.

It's not really intended behaviour.

I've run into this before as well. It's especially difficult when you have a longer shout history in the box.

Maybe a button that would disable refreshes for 60 seconds or something? Then it would auto kick back in (so you didn't forget it was off). Should allow enough time to read back up.
