Dark has been helping me out with the currency mod. He has been fixing a couple templates that were messed up and I greatly appreciate the amount of effort he's putting in helping me out.
But...
So far, I'm not too happy with my purchase because a good chunk of the important features of this mod has been buggy. The calculations are weird, the transactions aren't working, the multiple currencies are messing up (i.e I have no events setup for one currency but for some reason, it is gaining points... wtf), the members updating is a pain, argh, the list goes on.
This mod has a lot of promise but what I am getting at is that this mod feels like a beta. Actually, it feels like an alpha because the beta worked a lot better than this current version, unfortunately. The staff MUST have found plenty of bugs when testing this mod out so why sell a product that barely works?
I'll try to get all this running by the end of this weekend, but if I'm still stuck with all these issues, I will just postpone my already long-awaited plans for my members/staff and tell them the reasons for why.
I hope I am able to turn this currency mod OFF without dealing with another bug.
So yeah, if the mod isn't ready, don't bother selling it. I think it was actually better to release a BETA version of this mod to the Loyal Customers (customers who purchased a lifetime product) so they can test it out and find the bugs.
I am currently waiting for Dark to come back and assist us further with these issues and my members are all waiting for my forums to be opened again so they can experiment with the new features I was planning for them (which I hope I am able to get them working).
