Question SEO 1.4.8 Currently Working in 2025?

Hello there. I own a copy of SEO 1.4.8. I was wondering with all the changes to how to internet works and search engines, if this addon is worth adding to a new vBulletin 4.2.5 board I am setting up for use. I wasn't sure. I know that vBArcade isn't working anymore due to flash being gone, but thought this SEO might be worth it to help draw some traffic to the new site.

Any info on this would be appricated.

You should not be using vBulletin 4 (or vBulletin in general) in 2025. Mobile browsing is the most common form of internet browsing in 2025, and vB4 will never be as good as XenForo when it comes to responsive design.

I would strongly recommend you switch to XenForo if you're setting up a new forum in 2025.

But if you're dead set on using vB4, I would consider getting the latest version of DBSEO at the very least. Its Google Analytics integration no longer functions, but the other features should still work.

This is for a very niche website, that I doubt will get much traffic, its more just for the fun of spinning up the software I already own, and getting some nostalgic value out of doing so. I will skip the SEO part of the licenses I have here.
