shoutbox not showing unless i auto add it under navabar

Hi since upgrading to 4.50 my shoutbox does not dispaly unless i Auto-Display Shoutbox it when i try and add this {vb:raw vbshout} in the forumhome template under navbar it does not show please any ideas

what i mean is that i cannot Manually Display Shoutbox
